Sephora recently came out with their own subscription box! I was put on a to waitlist and later received an email that I could subscribe it! The subscription is $10 and will feature sample's from products sold at Sephora, which is not a bad deal. You will also receive other bonuses that you will be able to redeem in store, like extra points and makeovers. This subscription is not catered to what skin color, or skin type you have, so everyone will be recieving the same items, which can be a bit conflicting. If you're interest make sure to get on the wait list for next month!

Review | Colourpop Beeper & Clueless Ultra Matte Lip
When Colourpop announced new colors I was ecstatic because the colors looked gorgeous! I ordered them as soon as they came out. I purchased Beeper which is described as a "warm mid-tone taupe" and Clueless which is described as "dusty mauve pink." Beeper is my favorite out the whole collection(which is saying a lot), it is a pinkish brown nude color which is my current obsession, Clueless is more pink on me which I was hoping it would be a bit darker. The formula is still the same. It is very drying so moisturizing is ideal. Although some colors feel more drying than others. Clueless was definitely more drying than Beeper. It almost feels like chalk on the lips, but it is very long wearing. The Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipsticks retail for $6, which won't break the bank, so it may be worth the try if you're interested in them. Also you cannot beat their amazing color selection! They are set to come out with more colors as well!

Haul | Nordstrom, Sephora, Colourpop, and Ulta
Sorry once again for going MIA, I recently started uni again and it is crazy already! So the small break I do have I usually am doing homework or trying to maintain a social life lol, but I'm going to try and blog as much as I can! Anyways over the past few months, I've accumulated a couple of of makeup bits and a few fashion bits as well!
From ColourPop I picked up their two of their liquid lipsticks, from their most recent launch of new colors. I snagged Beeper and Clueless (will be doing a more in-depth review on those two), and a highlighter in the shade Butterfly Beach which retails for $8! It is a beautiful peachy gold shade and is to die for!
From Sephora I picked up one of their concealers, Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer which I've heard is very comparable to the Nars concealer but for half the price! It retails for $14 and has quickly become my favorite concealer! I also picked up a new moisturizer, because my previous one (Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion) was leaving my skin too oily. I was recommended the Korres Pomegrante Cream-Gel Moisturizer and it is AMAZING! If you have oily skin you NEED this in your life! It is a mattifying moisturizer and it leaves your skin feeling plump and youthful! I also picked up an eye mask (which I have yet to try)!

Review | NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick
Sorry I haven't been posting regularly BUT I'm back with another liquid lipstick post!
NYX recently launched another version of their liquid lipsticks. The suede cream lipstick came out in 12 different colors. The difference between their soft matte lip cream and their suede cream liquid lipstick is that their suede liquid lipstick is more creamier and less drying than the soft matte lip cream!

"Bow N Arrow" Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick | Review
Kat Von D recently came out with 15 new colors for Fall of 2015! She came out with an array of colors from lilac to navy to black and everything in between.
A while back, when I first discovered her line I was browsing the new and came across Bow N Arrow, and was disappointed that it wasn't available for purchase. Luckily it is now a permanent color in the collection!
Bow N Arrow is described as a fawn nude. It is definitely a nude but with mauve undertones! I was scared it was going to wash me out, but it is beautiful! The formula is still the same, creamy formula, that dries to matte. I will say it is a bit more drying, but not overbearing. ...

Yes, it is Damary. I used to despise it so much growing up and now I've embraced it

Haul | Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2015
Every year a lot of people anticipate the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It's huge because a lot of designer's get marked down a bit and they are in season as well. I'm a Nordstrom cardholder, so I had early access before the public. I only picked up two items from the sale and a couple of skincare products that weren't part of the sale but I'll save that from another post ...

Fashion Friday | Dainty Jewlery
I'm a sucker for dainty jewelry! It always adds a bit of glitz to any outfit without being over the top. I used to never wear jewelry, just your regular studs on the ears. As I've grown older, I'm starting to appreciate minimal pieces to add to my jewelry collection. You don't have to spend loads on jewelry. I purchase most of my jewelry at Forever 21, but I've started to venture out to other brands like Kendra Scott, Etsy, and other boutiques. Kendra Scott has amazing pieces which don't break the bank. Etsy is a great place to find customizable pieces, like name chains. I also love some of the brands Nordstrom carries like Nadri, which is also inexpensive but beautiful!
Do you wear jewelry? Where do you purchase yours? Let me know in the comments down below!

Makeup Monday | ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick
The liquid lipstick crave is real! Everyone seems to be coming out with liquid lipsticks. So when Colourpop came out with their own version of liquid lipsticks, I knew I had to get my hands on them!
They came out with 25 shades ranging from a variety of colors from nudes, to browns, to purples! I purchased 3 of them in Trap, Bumble, and Tulle. The consistency is a bit runny, so you might have some drips here and there. The formula is MATTE, so you will want to moisturize before hand. I wore Bumble for 6 hours outside on a hot sunny day and it did not budge, and I was eating as well! They do seep into the lines of your lips, so a lip primer may help with that.
They are currently sold out but should be back in stock soon and only retail for $6! For $6 dollars, I think they are good to try out, although they are not the best liquid lipsticks but for the price you really cannot complain and they are very long lasting.

I Thread My Baby Hairs?!?
I have always had baby hairs ever since I can remember! They would either stick up all over the front when I would have my hair pulled back or they would just take over my whole forehead! Every hairstyle I tried didn't look right because I had soooooo many baby hair's on my hair line and it was annoying. I tried to cut them which probably made it worse. I tried to put hairspray and gel to move them to the side but NOTHING worked.
I used to get my eyebrows waxed, until I switched over to threading. My eyebrow lady stated that I should get my baby hair's threaded and it would cleanup my baby hairs... I was hesitant at first but she promised it was going to be okay! I will admit it does hurt quite a bit ...
Here are two pictures side by side. In my before you can clearly see my baby hair's completely taking over my forehead, and this is after! MAJOR DIFFERENCE! My forehead looks so much cleaner than before.

Makeup Monday | Mac "Whirl"
MAC recently came out with 22 new shades for their Matte Lipstick Collection. I recently picked up Whirl. I believe since the Whirl lipliner was a huge hit, they decided to make it into a lipstick. So when I heard that it was being made into a lipstick, I HAD TO HAVE IT. Even before the hype of the Kylie Jenner Lip, I was OBSESSED with a good matte brown/pink lip.
My holy grail lipstick is Velvet Teddy by MAC. Comparing the two, Whirl is more on the brown side and Velvet Teddy has more pink undertones. Whirl is very creamy on the lips, so it will not be as drying as their Retro Matte Lipsticks.

Highlight for the GAWDSSSS
I've been OBSESSED with a good highlight nowadays (actually everyone has). I don't blame anyone for having the same obsession, it gives you a beautiful glow .. a JLO glow and no one can be mad at that!
Since about 3 years ago or so I've been on a highlighter buying itch, and I've collected a few on the way ....

Coloured Raine "Mars" vs. Kat Von D "Lolita"
![]() |
While checking out my instagram and snapchat simultaneously like 100x per day, I came across Amrezy snapchat and noticed she had a beautiful lip color. I immediately went on her IG page to hunt down the lip color and she had listed it as Coloured Raine "Mars," so I instantly bought it....

New Lolita vs Old Lolita
Back in December 2014, I bought the much hyped about Kat Von D Lolita, which is described as a dusty rose and is a liquid lipstick. This item is ALWAYS sold out on Sephora, so when I got the notification that it was back in stock, I immediately purchased it!
So when I got it in my possession I quickly decided to try it on ... to my dismay, it was the wrong color! The color was more of a muddy brown not the dusty rose that they had mentioned. The color did not look that bad on, but it still was not the dusty rose I wanted. So I left a review on Sephora.com to let others know that it was a bad batch....
Fast forward to now in February, I was surprised by a nice little package from Sephora (considering I had not purchased anything)! I opened it and inside was the reformulated Kat Von D Lolita!!! Sephora stated that the color was indeed a bad batch. I had already planned on purchasing the new formula anyways, but free is always best. Hands down the best customer service!!

Christmas & Birthday Beauty Haul
My birthday and Christmas are not that far apart (like two weeks away)! During that time I was gifted to (and to myself) a few bits and bops which just so happen to be my favorite, MAKEUP! I also snagged a few skin care items as well ...
From left to right:
1. Sephora Rose Mask
2. Becca Skin Perfector in Opal: This product is AMAZING at leaving your skin looking beautiful. I mix it in with a foundation and it leaves my skin with a nice glow.
3. Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Retsina/Musk. Perfect nude lip combo for an on the go. It leaves a creamy finish.
4. Clinique Exfoliator
5. Sephora Makeup Remover
6. B by Balenziaga. This scent reminds me a bit of Daisy by Marc Jacobs and Chance by Chanel, it does smell lovely nonetheless.
7. Soap and Glory Hand Food- smells lovely and leaves your hands soft. I will say it does not last as long
8. Soap and Glory Heel Genuis- Great for the winter when your feet are starting to feel really dry and rough.
9. Boscia Aluminizing Face Mask- this is a nice peel-off mask that leaves your skin glowing and soft after.
10. Boscia Blotting Sheets
Other items seen are ones that I picked out from my Sephora point perks: Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana( how cute is the bottle!), Clinique makeup remover. I also received the Nars birthday gift set, which includes two lovely shades which one is a matte red and the other a glossy rosy color.
That is all I received for my birthday and christmas! Super thankful and grateful for what I got!
Let me know what you received for christmas and what is on your birthday wishlist.
