For a while on Instagram and Youtube, I had seen many people mention ColourPop Cosmetics, and they were VERY affordable. I decided to buy two things to check out their products.

Makeup Monday | Mac "Whirl"
MAC recently came out with 22 new shades for their Matte Lipstick Collection. I recently picked up Whirl. I believe since the Whirl lipliner was a huge hit, they decided to make it into a lipstick. So when I heard that it was being made into a lipstick, I HAD TO HAVE IT. Even before the hype of the Kylie Jenner Lip, I was OBSESSED with a good matte brown/pink lip.
My holy grail lipstick is Velvet Teddy by MAC. Comparing the two, Whirl is more on the brown side and Velvet Teddy has more pink undertones. Whirl is very creamy on the lips, so it will not be as drying as their Retro Matte Lipsticks.

Highlight for the GAWDSSSS
I've been OBSESSED with a good highlight nowadays (actually everyone has). I don't blame anyone for having the same obsession, it gives you a beautiful glow .. a JLO glow and no one can be mad at that!
Since about 3 years ago or so I've been on a highlighter buying itch, and I've collected a few on the way ....
